Audience pages: Accessible from a the menu that appears top-right, above search tools, these pages offer information and tools for regular site users like students, faculty, alumni, etc. Pages may include showcase links that highlight websites and resources; audience-specific news headlines; announcements and event listings; and tailored menus.

Topic pages: Accessible from the main menu that appears directly under the site banner, these pages introduce university missions and major endeavors. They’re designed to offer new users additional entry points to the UI web, including image rotators that highlight sites and stories; topic-specific news headlines; facts about the university; showcase links; and tailored menus.

About the university pages: One of several core resources linked from the site’s footer menus, these pages provide a clearinghouse of information about the UI, focusing on facts and figures. Check here for demographics, rankings, traditions, and more.

Safety and support pages: Also linked from the footer menu that appears across the site (and highlighted on the Students page and elsewhere) these pages offer a one-stop help center that points to resources for personal safety, counseling and advice, health care, equal opportunity, academic concerns, and more.
