The following changes will go into effect June 29th, 2018
Upgrade your ERP systems and browsers for more secure shopping | Dell Security Protocol Change
Your security is our top priority. We are therefore taking precautionary measures to provide our customers with a safe and enjoyable shopping experience. The following actions are performed to ensure highly secured shopping on our site:
- Support of TLS1.0 based security protocols for SSL handshake between your ERP and our Gateway will end on June 29th, 2018.
Dell B2B Production platform : B2BDirect.dell.com will stop supporting TLS1.0 on June 29th, 2018.
- Support for browsers using an older security protocol will end on June 29th, 2018. We ask you to determine your browser version and upgrade to the latest version or a new supported browser. Click here to see the list of supported browsers and for more information
If security protocols are not updated by the mentioned date, disruptions in connectivity may result (which include punch-out/roundtrip to the Premier catalog and delivering purchase orders).
If you are not able to take action on the above mentioned changes, please forward this email to the procurement IT administrator in your organization who can act on them.
